Lost Creek Canyon-a new classic!

chraud Aug 19, 2008 11:56 PM

Ken and I descended a new project not far outside of the city of
Mission, BC on Sunday. The canyon was intended to be a warm-up for the
unfinished Terepocki Creek route, but the quality of the scenery was
such that we ended up spending a lot of extra time just taking
pictures. A few shots, which by no means do the place justice, are
located at this link:

Only a 3C I with a couple of short raps and some swimming, but really
beautiful and very accessible. At times, almost comparable to Looper,
and a lot easier to get to. Once we finish the nearby Terepocki, the
two canyons might make for a classic day of canyoning.

We have added a section for eastern Washington.  Thus far it has only two entries, The North Fork of Granite Creek and Palouse canyon. If any one has any suggestions for other canyons in eastern Washington, please let me know.
