I would say- only idiots do backflips from 40ft above the falls.

Gotta say that sliding off the falls ''tobogan style'' looks kinda fun... Might have to give that a try myself next time.

As shown, from the left side, it is possible to jump into the froth
next to the where the water goes in, where the surface tension is
already broken. In a wetsuit, with good shoes on, seems pretty
reasonable to me. Barefoot, in swim trunks, from the right side high
up - now that's crazy!!!
