Any canyons this season?
Just curious if anyone has attempted any canyons this season yet, and
if so which ones?

Done a few down in Utah so far.
As far as canyoning around here, haven't done any yet.
Have went for a look at Gorge creek, Lake Creek and today the South
fork Snoqualmie.
All looked to be a few weeks out at best.
Some of the lower volume things might be ok now, but I'd guess its
going to be August before the other stuff is doable.

Ken and I managed a descent of the lower part of Mosquito Creek yesterday, on Vancouver's North Shore. 8 raps to 50' or so, with one piece of exciting water and a big time ice cream headache (a little snowmelt still involved). The section we did comes in at 3C III. Not the most canyony canyon around, but nice, and I think the 5th rap (the fun current one) is pretty classic.
