Northwest Canyoning in early September
I'll be back in the PNW for a week or two at the beginning of September, and am hoping to hit up an unfinished project or three on Vancouver Island, as well as a revisit of my perennial favourite Looper Creek. Thought I'd see if anyone is interested in hitting a canyon or two sometime between the 2nd and the 9th. I would definitely like a return to the "unstarted" main fork of Artlish (long drive, probably bushy, but does have a pretty amazing feature or two at the bottom end), and there are lots of possible jump-and-swim specials in places like Middle Conuma and the Gold River system. Braden and Granite Creeks on the south island also look like good canyoning targets if there is interest. And of course, there is always Boston Creek up by Courtenay. Lots of ground to cover, and of course, conditions dependent.
Any interest?

You know I'm interested, Chris, but I thought I'd put it here on the group. I'm off the 4th through the 7th. Have Jeep, will travel...
