Early season-north of the border

I thought I'd throw out a few updates for some routes on this side of
the line as well:

Cypress Creek-at about 1.5X the maximum doable rate at the lower
drop, as of today. The upper sections, including the investigated
extension, are potentially viable now

Mosquito, Brothers Creeks-two drainages that are smaller than
Cypress, with lower water levels. Pretty close to feasible, as the
last snow is melting out of their headwaters.

Lynn Creek-looked pretty low at the bottom end this morning. Larger
drainage with some snow still in the upper parts, but the canyon has
a bit of room at the drops.

Southern Vancouver Island-creeks were coming down as of the beginning
of June. A short gorge near the head of Harris Creek (near Lake
Cowichan) looked to be reasonable. Harris Creek itself was running at
about 100 cfs on a 30 sq km drainage area. I wouldn't be surprised if
Looper is coming into manageable territory.
