cheap webbing

Just bought some ultra-cheap 1-inch tubular webbing to place around my ropes as shields against abrasion -

the stuff is rated at 2500lbs, but definately good as a rope protector at least - and it's only .09-cents per foot.

Wanted to share the link - http://www.twinsrecreation.com/American-Cord-Webbing-Co-1IN-WHT-SAILTIE-TUBULAR-WEBBING_p_80510.html

I can't imagine this stuff will last too long, once people see the price.

Seems unlikely to be nylon, more likely polypropelene. Not a good thing to have in a canyon, webbing that looks like the tough, strong nylon we are used to, but actually is something very different.

I advise caution.
